Guide bar length is measured from the front of the saw to the tip of the guide bar nose — not the overall length.

Chain pitch must match the drive system on the saw and, if applicable, the guide bar nose sprocket. To determine chain pitch, measure the distance between any three consecutive rivets and divide by two.

Chain gauge must match the guide bar. Chain Gauge is determined by the thickness of the drive link where it fits into the bar groove. Note: Normal wear can make it difficult to accurately measure used chain. It is best to refer to your current chain or bar specifications.

Indication of integrated safety features to prevent kickback. Green label chain meets ANSI low kickback requirements. Yellow label chain will have fewer safety features and is recommended for professional use only.
